I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, with an emphasis on building a strong therapeutic relationship where you can speak openly without fear of judgment. I see therapy not as someone telling you how to live your life, but as a space to better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and work toward meaningful change.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree in 2026 and am a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) in the State of Michigan. Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years working in behavioral health and substance use disorder services in a variety of roles, including peer recovery support, supervision, program development, and direct work with individuals at different stages of recovery. These experiences shaped my belief that people are more than a diagnosis, a difficult period in their lives, or the things that have happened to them.
My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use and recovery, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and helping people who feel stuck or disconnected from the life they want to be living. I draw from evidence-based approaches while recognizing that therapy should look different for different people. Together, we can explore what is happening beneath the surface, develop a greater understanding of your experiences, and identify changes that feel meaningful and achievable for you.
Above all, I strive to offer a therapeutic space that is authentic, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life.
