With more than 15 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse services, Ashita also has an extensive background managing therapists and providing clinical supervision for Limited License Social Workers. She understands the unique challenges and stress faced by her colleagues in the mental health field.

As a supervisor, coach or workshop presenter, Ashita is focused on individual performance as well as team and community impact. Ashita's work history includes supervisory and leadership throughout her career. During her years as a Clinical Director, she believed in bringing her best and most thoughtful selves to workplace and her relationships at work. She understands that excellence is reached when we coach those in the role of authority to bring out the best in themselves and those around them.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies and master of social work degree from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat, India. She also earned a master’s degree in clinical behavioral psychology from Eastern Michigan University. 

Ashita's mission is to remove mental health stigma in the south asian community by providing education and support to overcome mental health concerns. She wants to provide safe environment to further discuss their mental health struggles. She is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and in English. She would love to work with families to help them better understand mental health concerns and how to learn to cope with it.
