John earned his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Southwestern University in Waxahachie, Texas. His experience in trauma based therapy along with substance abuse, couples therapy, family therapy and extensive experience in working with adolescents has given him the ability to work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, ADD, ADHD, Bipolar, Personality Disorders and OTHER mental health concerns and has performed crisis intervention.
John’s desire is to empower individuals, couples and families to overcome personal obstacles. His approach is to help individuals build cohesiveness and structure to move forward in relationships and in life. John’s experience in Corporate America gives him the edge to work with individuals who want to improve their careers or just need to get that next promotion.
Understanding that the first step towards seeking therapy and counseling can be a difficult one, therefore his goal is to make the process as welcoming as possible. Based on the belief that every person has the potential to reach his or her highest level of functionality in life.
