Charlyne has been a licensed counselor for over ten years. She received Master of Rehabilitation Degree from Arkansas State University in 2009 and went on to complete certification in Specialty Program in Alcohol and Drug Abuse in 2010 from Western Michigan University. She has primarily worked with clients with co-occurring disorders including substance use and mental health utilizing different therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques, Mindfulness techniques, and Motivational Interviewing.

She provides trauma-informed care and has been trained in different trauma-specific programming curriculum including Trauma Recovery and Empowerment (TREM), Healing Trauma, and Seeking Safety. She seeks to come from a place of compassion and will walk beside you in your life journey.
